Meet Our Family

Hey there! I’m Carl Grooms, the owner of Fancy Farms. I started Fancy Farms with 15 acres of strawberries with my wife, Dee Dee, in 1974. She’s been by my side every day since, and my son, Dustin, joined us in 2007 and now our daughter Kristi runs our produce market and bakery. Today we own and operate our family business on nearly 125 acres. I like to say that I named our farm “Fancy Farms” for my wife – but the name is also attributed to the way we maintain our operation.
